This installation is on the rooftop of the Met in the company of Sol LeWitt. These pieces are made from fiber glass. The structures had their conception in a group of 1999 works entitles Non- Geometric Forms. Primary and secondary colors are joined together like multicolored stalagmites accompanied by one black and white structure, making a sharp contrast against the colors.

I choose this installation because I love what LeWitt can makes and create. I think that this installation as a whole is so strong and the colors are so bold. There is a good flow of colors and use of the primary colors coming together. I like the contrast with the white and black sculpture also. It is balanced yet chaotic at the same time. Also the size and shape of the pieces are very different, looking as if he took real stalagmites and painted them. I like the use of an outside sculpture and how it is displayed for all to see on a roof. Also one of the pieces has more curve and roundness to the shapes where as the other has sharp jagged looking structures. It inspires me to try and be unique, to make sure to have contrast and not to get a piecee lost in colors, you need balance and contrast.
