CLOUD is a large- scale interactive sculpture created from 6,000 light bulbs, new and brunt out. It is done by two Canadian artists. The piece utilizes everyday domestic light bulbs and pull strings, re- imagining their potential to create wonder and inspire collaboration. As part of the project the two men collected burnt out incandescent light bulbs from the community, making friends, cutting costs, and asking viewers to reconsider household items in an alternative context and think of new ways to use them. It is a hand bent steel substructure of the sculpture that is covered in a skin of incandescent light bulbs, rear-lit by 250 compact florescent bulbs, pulling a total power of approximately 20 amps. Each attached to a strings letting the viewers decide how bright the CLOUD will be.

I really liked this piece because it was recycling, imaginative, and it reaches out to people. It is interactive and I like that the most, also the fact that t is an outdoor sculpture. I love how the artists really utilized the cloud idea and shaped it to look just like one. There is good balance to the piece as a whole and not one side is bigger then the other. It love how they reached out to others and that's what  I was to do with my work. This inspires me, and lets me see how art work can be created from anything and that people are looking ot become a part of it.
